Suntasia Sucks was created because Suntasia attempted to fraud two people I know. They then made the mistake of calling me repeatedly and then violating the TCPA on two counts. This resulted in a lawsuit against them which ended up being settled out of court in our favor. During the course of the lawsuit their lawyer made numerous mistakes. The biggest mistake was contacting us. Everytime the lawyer would send us a letter telling us something stupid we would proceed to do even more research on the law and the company. This site will contain our findings.

Although this site is about Suntasia, what we learned and how we learned it can be applied to any telemarketing company.

Some key things you should know:

1. Never give your financial information to someone who contacts you
2. "Do Not Call" requests only get a 30 day grace period when done through the national list
3. "Do Not Call" requests made directly to the company take effect immediately for that company
4. They are not allowed to call your cell phone even once
5. You will never regret not buying something from a telemarketer
6. Law enforcement probably won't care
7. If a telemarketer asks to verfiy your financial information they have violated federal law and they have no way out
8. The only person you need to worry about is the telemarketer. Nobody they try to finger actually exists
